Return policy
Our return policy is governed by Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, of November 16, which approves the consolidated text of the General Law for the Defense of Consumers and Users, as well as by Law 7/1996 Regulation of the Retail Trade, modified by Law 47/2002 to adapt it to the European Directive 97/7/CE.

Within this framework, YouMakeMeSo customers have a period of 14 days to exercise their right of withdrawal by making an unequivocal statement stating their decision to cancel their purchases.

This web page includes items for sale that the customer can customize certain products by including texts and characters selected by himself. The client can find all the information by consulting the characteristics of said service.

The customer must take into account that, due to technical or other reasons beyond our control, the actual colour, texture and size may vary from those shown in the photographs. Likewise, the client must take into account that since they are personalized articles, it will not be possible to return or exchange said products, unless the client has received a wrong or defective product.

The client guarantees that he is authorized to use the texts that are part of the personalization of the products. Although YouMakeMeSo reserves the right to refuse your personalization or to cancel orders for personalized products for breach of these conditions, the client will be solely responsible for the personalization that is requested. YouMakeMeSo may reject your personalization or cancel orders for personalized products in the event that we detect that the personalization consists of, or includes, inappropriate elements, property of third parties or in any other way illegal.

YouMakeMeSo assumes no obligation to verify, nor assumes responsibility for the texts that are part of the personalization created by the client of this service. YouMakeMeSo does not guarantee the legality of said texts and, consequently, does not assume any responsibility for damages and/or losses that may arise for any user(s) and/or any other third parties -whether individuals or public or private entities- derived directly or indirectly from the use of the services or that have any type of direct or indirect relationship with said service and/or personalized products.

How to make a return?
Only items that have not been made to measure or personalized have the right to be exchanged or returned, as long as they are in the same condition in which it was received and without any type of use.

In this case, the customer must write an email to youmakemeso.shop@gmail.com commenting on the reason for the return. In the event that it is due to a wrong or defective product, an image is requested to be attached. YouMakeMeSo will proceed to verify the data to authorize the return, if applicable. Once the return has been authorized, the customer must send the product in a protected manner, at his expense the shipping costs, and taking into account that the original shipping costs or those of the return will not be reimbursed, except in the case of a wrong or defective product. It is recommended to send the package with a tracking service. However, YouMakeMeSo does not guarantee that you will receive the package nor is it responsible for lost items.

Once the package is received, it will proceed to review the product and if it complies with the previously established, an email will be sent to the customer with the confirmation and the amount that will be returned. In a maximum of 10 business days from the correct receipt, the refund will be made using the same means of payment that was used in the original order.

YouMakeMeSo reserves the right to reject returns communicated or sent after the established period, or products that are not in the same conditions in which they were received.

You should take into account that, if it is a credit/debit card, the refund, depending on the specific bank used, may take up to 30 days to be effective and this is beyond YouMakeMeSo.

3. Order cancellations

Orders can be canceled at any time as long as they have not entered the preparation or shipping phase. If the order has one or more ORDER items (made to measure or personalized), it does not admit cancellation or return, unless the cancellation is communicated before the product has entered production.


YouMakeMeSo reserves the right to cancel an order in case of:

System failure: if errors occur in the order due to errors in the system, it is considered a case of force majeure in which we reserve the right to cancel the order to guarantee the best customer service.

Stock error: sometimes, although it is not common, there may be a lapse in synchronization and stock updating due to two or more simultaneous purchases of the same unit. This can happen on items with aggressive bids and high demand. In this case we cannot guarantee the delivery dates of the product and we reserve the right to inform you, cancel the order and refund the amount immediately.
